Section 396
Structure may not be modified without approval

(1) Except as otherwise stated in the contract, the person taking the house shall not demolish, remove, damage, add any part of the house or modify it in any other way without the written approval of the owner of the house.
(2) If a person who has been taken into possession by doing anything contrary to sub-section (1) causes any loss to the landlord, the landlord shall be entitled to recover compensation for the loss caused to him from the person who is occupying the possession.
